A French style table with the Penn Valley slide mechanism.
Penn Valley Mechanism
If you like the functionality of the Brandywine Mechanism, but require a larger table, then the Penn Valley mechanism is for you. By storing the leaves vertically instead of horizontally, we allow you to keep a whopping 60 inches of extra table length stored inside of the table. A few subtle design changes also give you more leg room and a wide variety of available styles.
A closed Penn Valley Table.
Penn Valley Table open. Visible are the edge of the leaves and the ball bearing slides.
Another shot, this time with the top removed. The leaves, with their handles to facilitate lifting, are clearly visible. The sliders, which carry the top, are the things that look like ladders.
Top off, sliders closed.
